I think he doesn’t want anybody to know the truth...
what, that Mueller hasn’t obtained his records and has nothing? I guess...

For a man in his 70’s 11 years is a blip on the radar. Your comparison to Obama is laughable. So you’re telling me after a lifetime of achievement he suddenly forgot how to create wealth or suddenly decided to break the law?

Exactly. If you were proud of your business accomplishments would you want the truth to be shown. To back you up. There is a reason he doesn't want anyone to know the truth....

No, it is conjecture to say his tax returns wouldn't show anything because no one has seen them. I can't draw an conclusion because I don't have Mueller's facts yet, just as you can't because you don't actually know what is in his tax returns. All conjecture at this point. But he could get rid of it all and put egg on my face if he just did what every other POTUS in the last 30 years has...

Not break the law. But we did go thru the worst real estate market in modern history in those 11 years. Neither of us can say for certain how he got thru them or what debts he may have had to acquire to stay a flot, because he won't let anyone take a look.

Also, the length their lives doesn't matter. Point is, everyone's situation changes over the course of 11 years.

I'm not calling him a criminal, just the lack of transparency concerns me. Same as the lack of transparency in Obama's DOJ concerned me. When you hold office, you answer to the people or at least that is how it was all designed.

But, I’m not of the opinion he is hiding anything nefarious. More and pride thing.

Also I’m not insinuating with my opinion about what may or may not be in his records. It is not a concern of mine.

Man Kyle, you've spent the better part of the afternoon whining on and on about Trump's tax returns.
It's so clear that you see things through a cracked lens.
Learn to let go of all preconceived notions and try and view things objectively.
    For your own good bru.
Last year you were somewhat objective and had legitimate criticisms. But now you are progressing into "TDS" territory.
    Give it a break dude.
    Let it go.

He isn’t a mortgage broker or a real estate agent. He builds businesses. What does building a hotel / resort, casino, golf course, etc. have to do with the real estate market crash?

Kyle this is from a person who is 'NOT' a Trump supporter and NOT a Conservative. He's a center left person with an objective perception.

I praise anyone with fortitude and perseverance, imo. I'm American, I enjoy a rebound/success story. Where did I say he was innovative. I said he took a risk on investing, had the funds and nads to do so. His real estate, for the most part paid off, some of his other ventures didn't. His debt (whatever that may or may not be) doesn't concern me like the debt the community organizer, Bernie, Warren, Harris, Schumer, etc owes to their puppet masters, Soros in particular. They acquired their wealth on their knees. If that's what you prefer, its your right, ha

As for the pillars, how's their tax record? Don't get me wrong, I applaud their success. They also know how to work the systems across the globe, using it to their advantage. Why is that less of an issue? I was referencing their business practices, alluding to the hypocrisy of the "Trump is rich, he cheated. Bezos/Suck/etc are rich, used the same loopholes to compound their fortunes, but they're pillars of the economy". The depth of their wallets wasn't applied to my statement. You seem fairly reasonable, I can appreciate that you obviously put thought into your opinions, but how is that not hypocritical? And yes, I research how much taxes they pay and the loopholes they use, so I don't need a link to an NPR or whoever story

Where on a tax return does it show your debt or who holds it?

I think if you are deducting the interest on a corporate tax return the lienholder name and/or account # is listed. (I think).

I personally don't care about his tax return. I tend to agree with JayD about it being a pride thing with DJT. I'm sure he's inflated #'s when talking publicly about his wealth. Same way fishermen and surfers do.
But his fortune is directly based on his real estate holdings (not the businesses in them), so the market does affect his net worth. Which IMO is a good thing as long as you are not selling your properties when the market is down.
