The race, not closely watched by the New York media, stunned political observers when Crowley was knocked out by a veritable landslide.

Ocasio-Cortez is a member of the Democratic Socialists of America and was endorsed by the group.

Her platform includes abolishing ICE, an 'assault weapons' ban, universal guaranteed employment and a $15 minimum wage, and Medicare for all.

Plain and simple would be an explicit statement of support. You/me/the author do not know that "Sanders & Ocasio Cortez who support their dictatorial socialist monstrosity merely because he's a socialist". The author fails to prove it. Yes, they put together a nice article, but it's conjecture.

I read the article a couple times, I understand what it says. The proof that the author is providing, while yes I agree that it is a fact that those things were said/tweeted, does not show explicit support for the Venezuelan dictator.

Explicit to me would be something like "I Bernie Sanders support Maduro as legitimate leader of Venezuela". That hasn't happened. You can re-post those re-tweets all you want. It's still conjecture on the authors part to draw that line, using those statements.

If you can produce something explicit(my definition), you can change my mind.

I don’t know Kyle...most on here hate him, some dislike him but agree with a lot of his policy positions, and a few may go down. Not really an epidemic.

Most on here hate him? I will respectfully disagree with you on that one.

    Jay D is more correct.

Follow Headhigh's examples of logic re: Bernie and AOC.

Approval of conservative policies does not necessarily correlate with outright support of Trump as President.

As with everything else in life, nothing is always black or white. Lotsa gray areas.

The chart published earlier this month by economist Mark Perry for the American Enterprise Institute uses Bureau of Labor Statistics to chart inflation in several sectors between 1998 and 2018.
