Well where are you hearing this if you don't absorb any news? Hanging around the local abortion clinics?

Pretty sure that abortions are mostly state funded. No Planned Parenthoods in Texas, free abortions are difficult there. California has a ton of them.

State of NH just received money from FEMA for something. State government (liberal) took half of it and gave it to Medicaid of NH. Zero control of where funds are to be used.

Yeah Barry I don't doubt that some Fed funds are getting whitewashed and backdoored to such clinics.

FWIW, I support a woman's choice. The social costs of unwanted single parenthood are far greater than what we spend on overcoming that, imho

And I'm certainly not going to tell a woman to keep her legs closed.

Can't abide by late term stuff though. Let's find a term that is generally socially acceptable.

    1) Agreed--a plebiscite should be conducted and males excluded from participating in process. Once and for all, end the argument on abortion rights.
    2) Heaven forbid!!!!!That is anathema to me!!! It pains me just to think about it!!

That's what the law says P. Now of course I don't believe every person follows in 100%, you show me a law that people follow 100% and it'll be the first I've seen. My point is the laws are on the books, they just need to be enforced.

This is backwards logic. It should be more difficult to get an abortion as opposed to a making it as easy as getting fast food.

In many parts of the country, it's as easy as scoring a bag of weed. Quite a bit more difficult in flyover states.

As long as there is a need for it, a market (underground or otherwise) will exist.

    I thought abortions were $400
Agreed... But I don't think there is/will be a market for full term abortions.

$400? I don't know, I've never had to pay for any. All the girls I had were good sports lol.

Full term abortions are just wrong. If it gets to that point, there are humane alternatives to killing.

It's crazy to think that with this proposed bill they could kill the baby at the moment of birth, just sick. Why not at that point just give the child up for adoption? You've already carried the baby for 9-10 months at this point and have gone through the labor or c-section, might as well let the baby live and let someone else try and love it and raise it, even if it may have issues. Someone will love that child. Better than just discarding them in the trash.

That's what I'm saying... I don't think you can just "decide" at the time of birth that you don't want the kid. I thought it was only for medical emergencies. I could be wrong, but I don't imagine that will be happening.

I'm not sure if you saw this the first time I posted it or not but it seems pretty clear to me that it would allow for that, she pretty much says straight up that this bill would allow it. When he asks her if it could be done at the end of 40 weeks, she says yes, and that she doesn't think there is a limit in the bill. Then he asks again to clarify and she says yes, this bill would allow that.
