Not to put words in SS's mouth, but what I think he (and most rational people) would find ridiculous is the hypocrisy as well as sh!t slinging at people with a difference of opinion.
Some people can have intelligent conversation and disagree respectfully and some can't.

I share your frustration Barry, I just don't think killing is the answer. We do have laws, but they are lousy, weak laws with easily exploited loop holes. Fix those. Then you have stupid lottery and chain migration, etc., get rid of those programs.

We have some fencing and some walls, so we should replace all fencing with the new wall / steel slats design they are going with now, it allows the agents to see what's going on the other side while providing a very tall barrier that is near impossible to get over. At the very least it's a major deterrent to slow them down and gives agents time to apprehend them.

All other "walls" that have been proven to be ineffective get replaced with the new wall design. Then, add more agents, add more drones and other technology. Cover all vulnerable parts of the border, with the exception of the natural barriers that don't need a wall and are too difficult for the average human to make it through without dying. This will funnel folks into ports of entry. If they really want to come in, make them go through the legal process.

Those that come in the correct way and aren't hostile get treated fairly and humanely. Those that rush the border with weapons and displaying violence get treated as an invader, and they will be the ones that get shot if they resist or attack.

 

Way too late for any and all of that.
I am not frustrated by any of it.
But there remains ONLY one answer.
Defend your home. Anything short of that is WEAK.
Open fire. Now.
