Triggered? It takes a lot more than a stupid post by a stupid troll to get me "triggered". Don't get it twisted. Besides, who uses that word anymore? That's so 2016.
This thread gets awful dull with just lance and yankee gushing like justin bieber super fans over our dear leader. So what do you guys think on the latest abortion events? Monitor those poor disadvantaged prego women until they have their future welfare babies? Cause you know the women with means are going to just pop over state lines or hop on a weekend flight to Canada. I thought Republicans were all about freedom, liberty, and individual choice (like with guns for instance)?
Guns are for self defense and babies are defenseless. Yet, I still leave it up to the women. But, I just have a hard time justifying it in my mind (as a man lol). I guess when I have really thought through it, incest and rape are examples where I can loosen my perspective. Otherwise, waiting until the third trimester or worse after birth is pretty sick IMO. The other interesting side of it, is the genocide discussion and the Eugenics angle from Planned parenthood... Also, I think each state should handle legislation wise. Very touchy subject. I remember a friend (girl) back in the day did not know the first thing about politics (nor did I at the time lol). We were 18 and she said she was voting for Clinton b/c he was pro choice. It really is a women’s issue...
It's a tough call. I'm not a fan of abortion, especially once there is a heart beat. I'm also not a fan of telling people what to do with their body either. That said, once there is a heart beat, it's no longer just their body anymore, it's 2 bodies. If they do not want to keep the child or if they don't have the means to care for them, then there is such a thing as adoption. Lots of people would gladly raise that child as if they gave birth to them themselves. My wife has worked in an adoption agency and she has seen how this works first hand and can say it's by far the better option. We currently do not have kids, we have tried but we just haven't been lucky enough to get pregnant, and it may never happen because we're about to throw in the towel on that idea. But adoption is not off the table for us. If we chose to go that route, then one of those babies that weren't kept by their biological parents may be the one we end up getting.
