Here's an idea, don't have kids if you can't provide for them.

All well & good, bruddah.....but the truth & the reality is that since he's been elected by the people, DJT hasn't been allowed to do much in the way of policy.

Sure, appointed a good, thoughtful, intelligent man in Gorsuch. But, that's about it.

Call it the Deep State obfuscation as always, call it the aggro violent Left grandstanding on non-issues like 'The Russians' (the Russkies are basically a walking corpse, let's be honest), but 45 has not been permitted anything close to any of his predecessors to do his job.

The aggro violent Left's animus towards DJT overrules their common sense, their sense of fair play - - and their anger & hate towards the man knows no bounds.

Believe me, though, the quiet folks in America are taking note. They observe. They see the tainted lamestream media with their agendas. The CNN's that are forced to retract their bile & their lies.

I do not see a Democratic candidate reaching the presidency again for many years.

I do hope that a businessman runs, Dem or Repub, and wins, in the future. Because the asshats in the Deep State, who have never held real jobs nor paid real taxes nor dealt with massive medical bills for ill family members nor even balanced their checkbooks just DO NOT GET IT.

I didn't think so. I answered your question earlier you just missed it. When you have good insurance because you have a good job, then you can provide for your family much easier. My wife has a condition that requires daily meds for the rest of her life to stay alive. These meds cost thousands each month, so expensive we could not afford them if it was out of pocket, but because she has good insurance she's covered. Doesn't cost us a dime practically. Thankfully we're both responsible and don't have to rely on other people to pay our way. If our child were born with a health issue it would be taken care of.

Fortunately CHD accounts for 1% of births annually.
A problem but not a huge one.
Firstly since it's a small percentage if people aren't financially prepared to handle it 99% of the time charity will. Non govt charity.
Secondly what's being done about CHD?
Is there awareness for responsible couples who want children to detoxify their bodies and repair DNA damage before conceiving so as not to pass on mutated genes?
If you look into the parental health of CHD babies I'm guessing it's a good chance they aren't models of healthy living.
So Mr. #NonShreditude your argument for communistic policy is to virtue signal to get the govt to take care of your problems instead of being a proactive human.

that's great. you are acting responsibly. and things are fine for now. not so much under the proposed health care law.

let's say you two have that child you've been wanting to for some time now. let's say this child is born with a serious condition that requires continuous and very expensive care. let's say $100k per year just to make the math easy. that's not far out of line these days, could be more, could be less. "fine" you say "we're responsible and we've got insurance so we're covered." and you are until year ten when you hit the million dollar lifetime limit that didn't exist under the aca (obamacare). to top it off, your child can never get coverage for his or her condition because insurance companies can once again exclude pre-existing conditions.

so what are you going to do? can you afford $100k a year on your own?
