Well that's just dumb. This storm is confused and headed for landfall nearly as soon as she begins. Hope the Gulfers get something. Rest of the Swellers get nada. Not like this originated in its current form of Africa or anything though so no real loss. Ready for the next. Long term forecast in EMass shows daily stoke starting in 10 days.
Though I am somewhat disappointed, I am not surprised, and the Gulfsters deserve some swell after the blessing of a week that we've received in the NE. Natkitchen/other Gulfsters, please post pics...
Pretty choppy but fun! I am headed over to the recovery thread to to recover. Two days in a row after a month drought has me a little sore.
Looks like some fun little ramps. Far from perfect, but still better than what graced most of the NE today. With lulls as long as yours, I'm guessing you guys have to bench on the reg.
Glad you're getting stoked nat, you guys don't get too much at all. I'm now amazed that I was able to even surf 3ft chop at Gulf Shores back in June when I was there.
Fall is the time for us. As the cold fronts push through we get some really nice days that are actually clean. Gotta get a fix on what ever is out there in the summer. Glad you guys had a good couple of weeks too.
It sure beat the balls off last August. July was a artfully though. Think I only got one stokey sesh the whole month and had to go to RI for it. 2014 has been awesome all in all and my surfing is right where I was hoping it'd be by now if not better. Can't be a progress work without the right waves.
