It looks like a Euro v. GFS Model Throwdown. My money is on the Euro Model. This will be interesting to see which one is right. July, August, September, October with favorable Cape Verde setup. Same thing that makes you laugh, makes you cry.

I just got a sick foam surfboard. The guy at the surf shop told me it was ideal for double overhead surf. I'm ready to gnar out now that I've been surfing since June.

Mine too; I remember finally making it out to the lineup, then started to realize the size and power of the swell. I was literally shaking.Good times though, and a good learning experience ducking the set waves breaking out past the 2nd bar.Surfing the banks will prepare you for anything mother nature can throw at you.

Damn. Shane looks headed for landfall and just slowed wind speed by 10mph. I gotta stop watching this paint dry. And the invest east of Bermuda is off the map now. Whatever. There's a couple feet each day for the next week here. Just want decent takeoffs with something resembling speed each day and I can wait for the canes to arrive.

Yeah...now forecast to stay below hurricane strenth and take a pretty low track. Probably not much out of this north of Hatteras if the forecast verifies

If you guys have a YouTube account subscribe to Levi Cowan. He posts a "tropical tidbit" that really goes in depth on current storms and their forecast. Everything you would ever want to know about tropical storms. Here's his most recent on Dorian:
