It looks like a Euro v. GFS Model Throwdown. My money is on the Euro Model. This will be interesting to see which one is right. July, August, September, October with favorable Cape Verde setup. Same thing that makes you laugh, makes you cry.
Looks like our bruddah TS Shane is slated to get up to 69mph winds, that's nearly Cat1 yo! That buggah gonna kick north or what? TS Flossie (SICK NAME BRAHS!) looks like he's gonna light up HI with some love too.
The Euro model in Bavarians are way mo betta den da US model. More torque and HP! Jus ax da shreddah!! Cept he probly reps da Lambo or Rati!!! Ballah!!!
I just got a sick foam surfboard. The guy at the surf shop told me it was ideal for double overhead surf. I'm ready to gnar out now that I've been surfing since June.
No wayz brah!!! Bet dat stix good fo trips ova da head least!!! You natural braddah!!! Made fo da swellz!!!
Mine too; I remember finally making it out to the lineup, then started to realize the size and power of the swell. I was literally shaking.Good times though, and a good learning experience ducking the set waves breaking out past the 2nd bar.Surfing the banks will prepare you for anything mother nature can throw at you.
No idea, didn't see that thread. The guy's name is Levi Cowan, he's the man for forecasting Atlantic storms.
Nuttin wrong with that brah. I do it if I have to for the workout to burn cals so I can eat like a horse and also for paddling conditioning. Then I beckon the boats to come over and give me a wake!!!
My mom said she'd take pictures of me shredding it up (I heard a bro at the taco shop say that) this is going to be so righteous.
Damn. Shane looks headed for landfall and just slowed wind speed by 10mph. I gotta stop watching this paint dry. And the invest east of Bermuda is off the map now. Whatever. There's a couple feet each day for the next week here. Just want decent takeoffs with something resembling speed each day and I can wait for the canes to arrive.
Yeah...now forecast to stay below hurricane strenth and take a pretty low track. Probably not much out of this north of Hatteras if the forecast verifies
If you guys have a YouTube account subscribe to Levi Cowan. He posts a "tropical tidbit" that really goes in depth on current storms and their forecast. Everything you would ever want to know about tropical storms. Here's his most recent on Dorian: http://youtu.be/JT_M64Jt1LE
Or Rob, you can google "tropical tidbits" click on the page and make it one of your favorites or put it right on you desktop...its easier that way I think, just my .02
^^ topicaltidbits for life! That stuff is so fascinating... right now surfline premium long range forecast is calling for a decent wave on wednesday in cocoa / sebastian area. I'll (hopefully) see you there, Dorian. Any florida cats want to join?
