Not sure if I'd rather have some brief epic hurricane days like in years past or plenty of average chest-head high semi-onshore days like we've have. This has been a weird season either way, looks like she's closing up shop soon.
Well Karl is weakening and turning North. I'm thinking waste to armpit and a bunch of North wind for next week it seems.
Karl is little more than a thunderstorm now. What's the rub with this system? Wind sheer? Dry air? Water temps are certainly warm enough.
Patience people, patience. The next 30 days is going to produce plenty of swell for the E. Coast. Don't fret my good friends, it's gonna get gooood.
There is a place on the outer banks that has the best homemade cheese biccuits (with whatever you want on them) and a Porn Section. They have bumper stickers that say biscuits and porn...it's pretty funny.
No sh!t Jay D. That's my kinda place. Def going on my to do list for whenever I get to the outer banks. My old lady would like it too as we're both kinda perverts.
Man, this rain here is freaking crazy....still going. This low is just pumping moisture. We had nearly 15 inches so far. The creek behind my house in 10 years has come up to the bottom of fence...about a 4' rise, a couple of time. Last night it hit mid way up the fence based on the dirt line. Came just a few feet from foundation of house....I am not in a flood zone! Neighbor lost his JOn boat...sunk it! it's still raining. Not to mention on shore slop!!!!
Karl @ 60 mph. Just the bump in power we needed before he turns. Pressure below a 1000. I wonder what's in store for Bermuda ... Not looking like a clean pass. I know where I will be this weekend with the light to moderate northerly flow. Chest high waves will make me happy
Some kind of ragged eye looks like its forming. As close to the east coast as its going to get, expected to race off to the NE tomorrow. This is gonna be a quick pulse of swell.
