Man, this week is looking fun!!! Even if this thing doesn't get any stronger. Mid morning high tides all week. Even without further development, we have waves heading right at us. Can't ask for much more. Should be another great week. Looking like things will stick around for 4 days or so? Man.... oh man.
Glad I am not the ladder =) Same thing happened on Memorial day. At least the fine people of Ohio will get a decent show again.
Have a blast FLSURFDOG! The timing is sketchy: root canal Tues and Wednesday. But, if the Tues goes well, might chance it and sneak in some waves. We rode some toe to ankle high this morning, and with such pitiful conditions, got some crippling shin cramps that ended the session after only 45 minutes: at least there was nothing to walk away from. Someone said to try yellow mustard and apple cider vinegar for cramps. SIsurfdog-- I hope you have a great time
And, we now have a Depression. Tropical Storm tomorrow, Hurricane by Tuesday (she says, taking a bow...I also pick horses and lottery numbers if you need assistance)
I will jump on this train. I am stoked for the midweek, knock the rust off. Gotta get some photos this run.
Not really looking that great for NJ anymore with the updated paths, SC and Florida should still score tho
Those spaghetti models suck. We need to get the hype train to steer it back west with no landfall. If there were ever islands in the North Atlantic it would be Hawaii East for all these storms.
spaghetti sucking models excepted. todays' word is UNCERTAINTY. space coast to OBX - (uh-oh)..... bottled water/gas/dog food/donuts....might be the way to go.... Betty - drop kick that sucker out to sea, will ya?
I'm not liking this storm track at all. When Rhodey's not expected to get any then I'm really pissed. Two weeks out so it's taken with a grain of salt, but what's this 15s juice that MSW is showing for the following weekend up in NE? Is there another tropical event coming after Cristobal?
the track of it is pretty good considering that yesterday it was still moving WNW. Now its NNW and has slowed its movement which is really good. Outer banks are going to block a lot of the south swell but not too badly I bet. Its just far enough offshore that there will be an extra day or 2 of waves as opposed to if it smacked into NC (which it could still do).
