What most surfers don't know is that you can tweet your own surf report right from your cell phone by texting it to 40404 (Twitter). Anytime you're tweeting a surf report make sure you use the words "surf report" somewhere/anywhere in your message. Your tweet will show up on someones search for "surf report". Simple!!! sweet! I've been searching for ways to use new technology to increase crowding where i surf...just screaming "THE WAVES ARE GOOD HERE" at the top of my lungs isnt always effective.

You never read a surf report before? So do it when you get out. Besides if others are tweeting different surf spots maybe they'll all run from your spot. I've lived in Mission Beach for 26 years and it's always been the same crowed thickness. Tweeting not going to change it.
