Hey all, I'm headed to Portugal and Spain in a few weeks and I'm looking for advice. It's a trip with the wife and in-laws, not a surf trip, but they've allotted me two days in Peniche, Portugal. Anyone have advice on where to rent a board? I found one place that does rentals for 25 euros a day but that seems a little steep. Before y'all start giving me **** I did do a little digging on old threads but couldn't find much about Portugal. Also, any spot advice would be welcome. Supertubos is obviously my first thought but that shallow water sketches me out a little. I'm a decent surfer but you have to be real quick to your feet when it's pumping there. Anyways, any advice yous guys have is welcome, surfing or otherwise. Except for wetsuite advice. I got that. Gracias amigos!

As always you're right my friend. In Mass it's the south coast, lots of Portuguese. A couple of good surf spots too when you get close to the RI border.
