I have never had to pay to surf, along with fishing. I walk right through and don't bother to look at the booth people. I'm surfing in the ocean as people have said no one owns the ocean. I am not depending on a life guard when I'm sure a good majority of surfers can swim better than allot of them. It's disgusting how the bennies leave the beach it really is. Dawn patrol sessions can be heart breaking sometimes seeing the beach filthy with trash. Cali for sure does not have that. Maybe this tread will stay alive and we can get a comparison o a Saturday here and Saturday in Cali. The cleanliness is respect the badges are greed, taking advantage, and whatever else people have said

 

One time this summer me and my friend showed up for Dawn Patrol, since I always go early in the morning. We stuck around a while and my friend had brought a bag and some stuff to the beach. Left to grab something from the car after gaurds came on duty and the guy tried to charge him to get back in. He said "I've been here all morning my stuff is in there I don't even have any money with me it's on the beach" and the guy told him it didn't matter so my friend just walked by him haha.
