Dude, they have Topsail, WB and CB plus some Brunswick beaches in the report. Do you need to know what the waves are like in the river or something?

If you have a mac you have to go to surfchex.com to see the South End, SES's cam does not support mac.

I don't understand... You mean a surf report, rather then a surf forecast?

heres your wilmington surf report: the current on the cape fear river continues to run toward the ocean today. waves are in the pinky toe to big toe range.

i'd say, based on the thread title and what you requested that you should follow these easy steps for happiness:

1- return your wavestorm to costco (i'm assuming you havn't used it yet)
2- look around uncw for a chubby, pasty, pastel colored polo wearing dude (easy)
3- join his frat, and initiate fraternizing

on a side note, does anyone have any comments good/bad about UNCW. I just applied there a week ago and i think its pretty high on my list right now so i was curious to see what people thought/knew about it.

Graduated from UNCW in \'08. First the campus has gone through some crazy changes the past 3 years and added about a third of its size with new dorms alone. Pretty easy to get around by foot, bike, skate or shuttle bus. Added plus the girl to guy ratio is 3:1 and 75% of those girls are beautiful! If you end up parking on campus the parking department are nazis, beware! Most my class sizes were small - exercise science, classes were around 20 at most. A few lecture courses that had around 100. There is no football team though rumors have been around for years. Basketball is the main sport and the school bends over backwards for them even though they suck. Track & Field, swimming and baseball are their most successful. \r\n\r\nIf and when you make it off campus there is never a shortage of things to do. The weekend starts on Monday where there is something to do everynight. Downtown offers about 15 different spots and hits each end of the spectrum, it\'s about a 5-10 min car ride (traffic lights are horrible). Or you can head Wrightsville Beach and hit a beach bar, setting is very chill and most of the bars are within seconds of each other (beware of DUI checkpoints though, there is only one way on/off the island). \r\n\r\nAs for surfing I spent most my time on the northern end of Wrightsville, its never crowded in the water. Most will go to \"C street\" area or the southern end. There are multiple surf zones along the entire length of the beach and there is never a problem with it being too crowded in most spots. \r\n\r\nHope this small book answered some of your questions. Good luck on getting accepted and feel free to ask any other questions you may have.
