do your internet research on finding more popular spots or call sweetwater surf shop. otherwise, secret spots and killer sandbars come with local knowledge & time spent discovering our coast on your own! no freebies!

wblivesurf.com reports on C Street. I dont think anyone will be mad that I told you that that is a very common place to surf.

also you can do the jetty by crstal cause sometimes it can be bigger and masonboro island but you either have to paddle over or take the water taxi.

I surf all along wrightsville beach. Since you are hear visiting, it is a good chance to check out a few of the beach accesses. Just drive up and down and look for the signs. I surf a lot on the northern side (go left once you get onto the island) but I dont think its significantly different at once place or another when its really flat or really big. Its those in between days you have to search out a good spot. Also, check out Sweetwater, and Surf City shops while you are down too...

and oh yeah.. go to wblivesurf.com to get a surf report

  10. small world... just sent in my application. seeing it sometime in october.

dude, what you gotta do is call up t.dog at sweetwater and ask for Big Raymond, hes the local liason for new uncw students from THE FORCE
he will definately set you up with a sweet list of all the most core secret reefs, points, bombies, slabs, passes, sandbars, and other assorted shred spots frequented by THE FORCE's finest rippers.
