no parties involved are right in which this situation was handled. As they say..."it starts at the top". Policy makers need to understand that not everyone will just roll over. Security needs to understand that removing a passenger by force is not tolerable these days unless it is an extreme security issue involving passenger safety. The doc needs to understand that you can only push your personal rights so far before someone challenges you. I'd bet there is a UA executive or two laughing right now; butt this our world.

It's an airplane. The one place to NEVER have violence as a general rule. I'm not gonna blame the entire company but whoever made decisions on this really dropped the ball. Irresponsible.
