    Yea, Nike. but either way, the waves are not good for a comp. I guess they couldn't really delay the comp with the bands, etc but still!

    The US Open, being such a large multi-level event, runs when it's scheduled to. There is no waiting period, the contest takes the entire week to finish up completely--the logistics would be ridiculous to try and accomplish if there were a waiting period.

    Plus the comp falls right in the middle of other 6-star comps by a week or so. Rarely do you see the ASP double book important events.

    That was a good heat. Lots of waiting at the start for waves though. Slaters heat was pretty decent too.
