Anyone go out this weekend? Went running at the beach yesterday and saw some people out. Surf was minimal but was still good...plan on going for a bit tomorrow and Monday.
Went out in North End at low tide (around 5:45pm). It was as forcasted: Knee to thigh with the rarely occasional stomach-high wave. I used the Secret Weapon in my sig. My son took his Custom X sponge. We had fun. Tomorrow morning, I'm going to use the 10-footer...just to mix it up.
i got out in the early morning on saturday. it was about knee to waist. occas. stomach and fairly clean. it was super fun for the small wave equipment though.
I checked north end in the afternoon but it didnt look ood< wemt to croatan where the winds were directly onshore and it wasnt half bad had some fun double up rides on the groveler. Probably head there monday again too.
