My woman got me about a 7lb slab of pork belly for Valentine's Day. Any of you fellers have any recipes?
If you have a smoker: -cube it up (cubing before will give you more burnt crispy goodness) -season with salt and pepper; add your favorite pork rub (don't skimp on the brown sugar.. pork loves brown sugar) -smoke around 325F until fat is pretty well rendered -roll it around in some sauce and then throw it under the broiler until you basically have crispy pork candy enjoy on a salad or slaw or just eat that **** standing in the kitchen Oh yeah and you better think of something reeeal special for the woman that gets you a pork belly for V day.... good luck!
P.S. if 10 degrees is too cold to stand outside with the smoker this weekend (p*ssy!) you'll do fine just doing the whole thing in the oven. Best of luck. Enjoy!
