Vh1 and Unicity Emerging Artist is have a battle of the bands sposored in part by 93.5 The Beach. My sons band "NOT MY OWN" will be in the playoff. Last week they actually had a tie with another band, and a new playoff is Aug 29th. It will be held at the Bay Center in Dewey (Rudder complex). Check the link out for more info. Unicity and Vh1 are bringing awareness to the arts and music in schools. Recently due to budget cuts in the school systems the arts and music programs are the first to go.
