    victory at sea (uncountable)

    1. (idiomatic) Ocean conditions very windblown and messy, possibly to the point of being inimical to surfing and other water sports.

1950's TV series documenting the 2nd WWar in the Atlantic. Show opened with ships battling incredibly violent stormy seas. You youngsters have no understanding of history. It's almost tragic.

I'm actually a history major, and watching a tv series doesn't mean you have an understanding of history, if anything it means you have a onesided myopic view of history...

    Read.read.read.
That's something our generation is tragically losing.
..not thinking is our biggest luxury
