The Xbox 360 and 360 are the same thing if thats what your asking and, you can go online with it if you have an internet connection hooked up to it.
Do not get a laptop if you want to play games. If you want to run MW2 on PC min. hardware imo would be 2gigs ram, 8800GT GFX Card, 320 STAT HD, Q6600 Processor.
I got the 360 for games skate 2, GTA IV, Call of Duty Modern Warfare, COD Modern Warfare 2, COD World of War, Halo 3, Shaun White, Forza Motorsport, NHL, Madden...i might as well have my paycheck go to gamestop
I am old enough to remember coleco vision. My daughter has a wii, but the gmae I play the most is Combat Arms on my PC. It is free to download and will easily run on most systems, even laptops. A quick search on youtube will show you everything you need to know.
i was out of the loop with video games too. so i dusted off the ol ps2 controllers and beat transworld surf and kelly slater in a week and bought my friends xbox 360. i never really liked video games because when ever i couldnt beat a level i just stopped playing the game all together. BUT call of duty modern warfare 2 is the craziest thing EVER. soooo addicting but deffiently worth it. GET xbox 360. its awesome and great customer service you have to get call of duty MW2, Fifa 2010, and nhl 2010
ha my whole life story..i had the systems xbox, ps2 and all but never played them. my parents really didnt want me getting to get a 360 cause they thought it would be a waste of money but i use it a lot. and i used to just quit when i got stuck too.
I have transworld but it isnt worth playing on the 360, its super slow on the 360, but if you still have the OGbox you can just play it on that.
surf riders for PS1. JK, I always like Sunny Garcia for PS2 better than Kelly Slater and better than transworld.
I have both systems and both have failed on me. The PS3s blue ray ate it and it does not get much play because the xbox by far and wide has better games. $160 or something like that to get it fixed by Sony. My 360 has also bit the dust once and it was free to get fixed and they sent me a free 3 months of internet. The guy who posted the failure rate at 30% ya maybe like 2 years ago. All the new systems don't have any problems with the ring of death. On the graphics tip...you need to take a visit to gamespot.com because they have done 4-5 comparisons over the past few years of games on both systems with photos you can scroll over and see what they are talking about. PS3 has not won one yet but it has gotten better. To tell you the honest truth if you are using the best tv with HD and all the good stuff you won't be able to tell the difference in graphics. Both systems are great. Sorry... I am a nerd, been playing video games for many many years. It is my other addiction when I am not surfing or banging out the gf .
im gonna say false on this. i live with 8 other guys (college apartment) and we have 2 PS3s, 2 Wiis, 3 N64 (best ever ), 1 SNES, 2 XBOX360s and a PS2. So far the only thing that has failed us are the 360s. ATM both have the RROD (red ring of death). The first is its first and we are awaiting Microsoft to send us the box to ship it back in and the 2nd just got its RROD yesterday. This one has gotten the RROD 5 times. 5. thats ridiculous if you ask me. his warranty ran out and so he will not be getting this repair for free. i will say i enjoy many xbox exclusive games but most games i play are on both. im buying a PS3 as soon as i win some monies in AC in the next week or two final note: PC gaming FTW
Ive been playing the COD series since the beginning. MW2 is sick, there has been a lot of hacks on 360, i hear of no problems on PC or PS-3............be careful though, it will suck your life away. No body has mentioned, Assassins Creed. I picked up part 2 last month. Sick, its like GTA set back in 1400 Italy, very detailed and realistic.........check it out
