yup. I scored long rippable rights in town yesterday before dark. went from south wind at 30 and raining to offshore at cinco and draining then I saw that everywhere from cb to ... well I guess LBI .. is getting the goods get out there and get some buoys
Shrinking by the minute. Swells coming from South winds rarely last long. My oldest surfed last night before dark and headed to LBI this morning to chase it with his friends but it doesn't look worth the drive when back home in OC looks better on the cams.
sighhh, that's the same view I'm going to have today as well, same cam and all. I'm just happy I got out on thursday and got some fun ones. hope everyone that gets a chance to paddle out has some fun! I'll be vicariously surfing through all of you
Definitely fun this morning, until the new york crew and joey butofuocos showed up. Nothing like these idiots shouting yo man constantly when talking. The thing is they can't surf and miss waves. I paddle around or drop in. Rinse and repeat. Sorry Joey but go home to NY.

I never go to NY and always avoid it unless I have to travel through it. I travel to other spots not in NY when there is N in the wind. I don't know many NJ surfers that go to NY ever. I know plenty of NY ones that come down here because the N/NNW wind doesn't happen too often.

short-lived swell. it was fun until like 10AM. then it went to crap. if you had to work yesterday, yeah you missed it, but it was one of those "get a fix" kinda swells. Nothing all-time.
MOCO looked to be workable till atleast 3 from what I saw on the cams...in good ol' ocean county it was def fading hard by 10am...
