Does anyone know about these boards? It was given to me by my stepdad when he came to visit from the Big Island. Has some date markings on it. Thin strip of Koa inlay on both sides. You can see the evidence of where he was riding on the lava rock reefs....what do you think? I also have a huge padded double longboard travel bag... Looking to sell JD

Might be a Mark Liddle board. He surf'd Ala Moana and Kaisers all the time. REALLY good surfer. Did some contest around California for a while. Not sure if he's still shaping boards. Google his name. He might turn up.
I got an offer for 200 bucks - seems pretty low - anyone else interested, let me know. I doubt if there are many of these boards around. Also, the travel bag - 50 bucks OBO
Looks like a Greg Liddle http://www.liddlesurfboards.com/ He is known for shaping Hulls and pretty much exclusively shapes them now. Hulls have pinched 50/50 rails that blend into belly in the bottom. So the bottoms have no concaves and aren't flat. They are basically a hull, like on a boat. Hard to tell from the picture of that board if it is a hull or hybrid hull. He shapes some hybrids that are more user-friendly. Could be a board he shaped before he started strictly shaping hulls.
Yeah, it's an oldie but goodie - old school kama aina style - it has numbers imbedded in the fiberglass. I'm sure he probably remembers making it. I'll probably take the 200 bucks - this buyer is part of the subculture that grew up with the guy....
i am interested in the longboard travel bag. please contact me at 732 977 1482 or email at [email protected]. thanks!
