The kickflip must be a real air "above the lip" - No backwash, No chop hops, or anything in the flats or below the lip of the wave. Good for him that he landed it, pretty cleanly at that. Like you said, the rules state they want the trick above the lip, and this one looks like he is in the face. I'm sure there's going to be other guys getting some good air like Ozzie Wright is in the other video. I'd think if he wanted that 10g's he'd hold off on submitting that one, and try to go bigger on the next. Props for making it though.
Zach Rhinehart from oceanside is doing them. Hopefully they will get some video of it soon. He is a surfride guy, but if this is a world wide hunt, my money is on rhinehart cause he is already doing em.
