Broke mine in half in belmar last week. Is it just me or is belmar shallow? First time there was last week. Will consider trade for a 9'2 stewart or 6'4 tim nolte fish. Got a pearl forum series drum set too in good condition..

Don't most of you cats endorse flat rocker on a LB?

Na flat rocker sucks on steeper waves. Goes right to the sand for me. Need to work on my technique of course, but later takeoffs i eat shizzle. Any suggestions would be appreciated. My 9'2 is a great board, but the flat rocker drives me nuts.

It all depends on what sort of waves you want to ride it in. I don' like flat rocker, at least for most mid atlantic waves

Waikiki..sure, San Onofre yeah, knee high Malibu peeling along forever, I guess, Assateague slop, yep.

But for whatever reason when I longboard in smallish waves on the Delmarva, the pockets seem small and cramped, the shoulders are short, so your usually in the steeper part of the wave, and cutting back sharply just seems to work better than trying to glide for 30 yards at a time in trim like you would with a flat plank.

and when the waves get bigger...pretty much this:
