Other than the conventional full suit boots gloves how do you extend sessions? Personally I put my suit in my heater room so it's fully dried and I just run into the surf until I can't feel my fingers anymore, I've tried not water in the suit and that somewhat helps. How does swell info stay warm out there. Hoping to get something tomorrow wave wise. At least the waters not 30 degrees anymore

Drink enough water where I'm pissing 5x in the suite. Then I have to deal with ice blocks for feet when they're marinating in a gallon of piss.

...might not be the best approach.

    why not invent an approach?
use those hand-warmer things in a baggie or something...

    The meaning of life….
Pee pee inside of your body will keep you warmer than outside your body.

Like wearing a sock on my Johnson? Wait, Anthony Kedis beat me to it.

The multi-piss approach definitely works. Just causes a sharp curve eventually where the toes go numb. At least they're protected if any jellyfish sneak into the boots. We know how sandblasters hates jellys.

How about socks inside your boots?

lightweight merino wool underneath. weighs next to nothing even when wet, and adds an amazing amount of comfort and warmth.

yeah light merino wool socks in 5 mm round toe boots are keeping my feet warm in sub 35 degree water.

For real. I'm thinking of trying something like this:

    under my gloves.

Try not to duck dive. When in suiting up in my truck I throw my gloves and boots over the defrost vents at the bottom of the windshield and blast the heat for like 30 seconds. Paddle in circles. Seriously. Constantly wiggle my toes and clench/unclench my hands. Pull the chin of my hood over my face a bit and breath. Just make sure you brush your teeth first.
