water in th 50's this morning

Had to run home for boots and gloves!

 

Wore a 2mm short sleeve full, body was fine, but my exposed arms were a bit numb. Could have used boots though. Only out about 45mins due to annoying surf beach crowd.

 

It was fun this morning in southern moco. Nice swell for July. Definitely felt cold in a 3/2 for a little while there. I could have used boots, feet felt numb 10 minutes into the session.

 

3.2 and was warm... had some fun waves until the lifeguards had to be nazis

 

a buddy that runs a charter was off long branch yesterday and was in 67 degree water. they turned and started towards Shark River Inlet and hit water that was 52 off of Deal and was that temp all the way down to the inlet.

I hate you upwelling.

 

Jebus H Christmas that sux! Could not imagine wearing a wetsuit in July. Water is 83 or so here.

 

I went no suit yesterday - 3/2 today was warm - yesterday once I went numb it felt warm.

It's hard to steer the board when your feet are numb.

 

52 was my guess in SoMoCo this morning. 3/2 with boots and my hands were freezing the whole time.
