I"m not a SoCal local, but YES... water temps are in the upper 50s right now for San Diego. Nothing thicker than a 3/2.

Are you coming to San Diego as well? Water temps in SD are around 62-64. Short arm fully for sure.

Hmmmm... I would say bring your best 5/4/3, booties, & hoodie.
It's getting pretty nice again so no need for your gloves.

Your 3/2 is more than sufficient. Your good.

South swell moving into next weekend. Should be shoulder to head high. Hopefully conditions stay clean!

i think the eddy is finally starting to dissipate so we're going to see more glass at dawn and dusk but heavy onshores during the day again

shoulder to head high would be nice but i think this south swell is only going to send small longboard pulses to us in SD... which is ok with me, i like longboarding in thigh-high or less. my longboard needs more use anyway, it's just been sitting in the corner of my bedroom for the longest time - i've been using my fish so much lately with the mushy but sizable conditions.
