water temps 12/30/13

I know it's not relevant but, 71 here in central fl some dudes are still in trunks!

 

im doing 5/4 hooded suit with 7mm mittens and 5mm boots right now

 

5 unless your not planning to surf long....a nice 4 w/hood will work.
It felt cold last Monday.

 

3 mil 5 fingers are still toastie. Toasty? Dang spelling mumbo jumbo.

 

Whaddya mean stil?!?!?! Here in RI I'm in trunks til the water hits 60! That would be like a bath to me!

 

I'm doing the same suit but opposite accsesories. ?accsesories?

 

Definitely not 37 degrees yet. Should be approx. 43-44 in LBI...
I've ben wearing 4/3 with hooded vest. 7 mil boots and 3 mil gloves and have been fine.

 

5/4/3 w/ hood was a little toasty w/ 5mm boots and 3mm gloves when i paddled around on the longboard sat. Granted the knee high waves didnt put me into the water too much and air temp was 50.

i dont think you will need think you'll need the real thick stuff tomorrow.

 

coastal NJ buoys are at 44.
