Just started this thing where I gotta paddle like a half mile out and bring some sample bottles to get some samples. There's a sick slab that's such a hike that no one really goes to it and it's right next to where I gotta take the sample. Looking for a good waterproof bag or something that I can secure to my body in case of wipe out and can be drenched in Salt water
Check the REI web site. Make sure you leave air in that thing. Get a small boat bumper to pack in it. Water bottles won't float themselves. Just saying.Sounds like a fun task.
This is what I use for long wet muddy walks to PNW spots: http://www.prolite.com/product.asp?ProdId=128&category=Day Bags&product=Session Day Bag - Fish/Hybrid/Big Short
Yeah REI. I have an old eastern mountain sports drybag for kayaking that I put my suit, booties, and gloves in. For more than one sesh i fill it with hot water and have my cold wet stuff bath in it before going back out.
