had a lawyer and were getting ready to file and a buddy got a hold of the dealer owner's email (this was a big nissan dealer). Sent a nicely worded email and within a day we got a check and extra 100 for gas driving back and forth
Good work! See, I need friends in low places, I would of probably just gotten hosed and that would of been the end of it, that or it would of ended in me going to jail for using the guys head as a punching bag
ALWAYS go to the top! For dealers, rep is everything and if you dont get satisfaction they know using the net, people can really hurt them.
Dude broski it's so suite to drive around with my life is good spare cover and wave at all the other jeep drivers as we pass each other! Lol I drive a 1995 jeep wrangler and could careless about the whole "it's a jeep thing" Homerism's...
I drove Honda CRX's for many of my college years. What's the hell's an oil change? Ok, maybe every 12-15k miles. Never burnt or dripped a drop of oil. Battery??? Who needed a working battery. I just backed into uphill spaces and roll started the thing for 2 months. The best part of the story is that a honda can run with oil in the radiator and water/antifreeze in the engine. Well...at least good enough for a dad and his son to check it out and stroke a check.
for u jeep people lol, sure il get some positive feedback on this one, why do u choose jeeps,is it for offroading, driving on the beach, etc?never had one,my buddy has one he doesn't do anything fancy without besides driving to work. reason I ask is I used to be a big off roader back in the day, hitting trails in the bush, and I always heard never take a jeep offroading because they flip over a lot,and if u hit the trails we used to hit, just about every kind of truck flips.I always like a ford bronco for offroading.my buddy had a f150 and burned out his clutch 15 miles into the woods.we had to winch it out of a huge azz puddle that resembled a lake, like 4ft deep lol,and had to drop the tranny and change it there.we lost a few rides down there.good times lol,it was the only days I drank beer and sniffed blow, being that the drivers always provided,i always rode shotgun, never had my own 4x4.u can literally do anything back there with how deep it goes, shooting shotguns, blasting music, crashing threw chainlinked fences.those were good times
I like my Jeep cause they last forever and almost all the parts in the engine and else where are easy to access and replace. No bells and whistles huge tires or lifts just a solid piece of Murican Steel!!
seems like all trucks have mad hoodspace.my brother drives a Silverado,i can literally stick 3 bodies under the hood and itll still close.wish I had a truck, fixing regular cars,u have to take half the engine apart just to change the plugs.
Yeah man I'm not a macanic or experienced in repairs but Iv'e had this jeep 6 years now and have been able to make all the repairs myself
Same...best car I've ever owned. 1987 CRX HF 5 spd. Driven for 250,000 mi. mostly loaded with boards. EPA rated at 42 city 51 hwy which is about what I got and it was a cheap reliable aerodynamic box that was easy to do all maintenance. It irritates me to no end that a quarter century of tech advancement later we are only more complicated, no more efficient, and a lot more expensive.
Totally over-engineered. Motors in modern cars will usually last upwards of 200K miles, but trans, suspension and every electronic and vacuum piece take a dump way too soon. Even working on a Ford, Chevy, Honda or Toyota is as expensive as working on a Lexus or a BMW. I haven't bought a car off the showroom since 1987. I prefer to buy used but dependable hooptys, and do 90% of the work myself. 1988 Porsche Carrera 911 1990 Mazda Miata (wife's) 1999 Ford Mustang (kid's) 2000 BMW 740i Sold the '69 Bronco and my Harley's recently.
KR is that E38 class on the 740? Them some bad azz baller whips. Gotta black em out. Question for the mudders - if your rig gets stuck in the bush and you can't get it out, does insurance cover it as totaled?
