I just got a new TWS mag in the mail today, and there was an interesting article in it about artificial wave pools in the United Arab Emirates. I was just wondering if any of y'all had an opinion on whether these pools were good for surfing or bad.
I think these things would be great for practicing maneuvers on waves as well as waveriding in general... however it will never completely replace surfing - learning and working with the ocean is half the fun. I would love to have one in my backyard though.
