So being that the east coast has been completely and totally starved of good surf... or any surf for that matter.... Im wondering what other surfers will choose to do if swells hit when the quicksilver pro happens. For me... to be honest I'd rather go surf then sit on the beach and watch other people surf. But that's just me.
Well, I'll probably be bombing some hills on a longboard skateboard since I'll be in Pennsylvania for school and it's the closest thing to surfing I can do around there. But if I was here and there was nice swell and I had the option, I'd probably surf. Or surf the earlier tide at hemlocks and then try to catch the later tide to watch the pros (or vice versa). I'd be getting some surfing in no matter what. Sucks I'm going back to school, though—at least as far as surfing goes.
