Hey guys. Due to roads being closed in LI, I wasnt able to make it for a surf today. You guys think there will be anything left tomorrow morning. I know the winds have been blowing hard offshore all day and the swells coming from a pretty extreme E angle, but maybe at the right exposed spot there can still be a waist-chest occ. shoulder high wave? what do you guys think? For those that got some today, how was it?? Thanks
Wasn't able to get out today either. Don't know if the beaches are going to be even accessible tomorrow. looking for somewhere to get in tomorrow also, should still be a nice bump.
Today wasn't really that great the morning had really bad side chop coming from the south but throughout the day if you waited for them you could get a nice one blind drop ins due to crazy offshore winds I left at low tide and it was just close out don't know how it was from low to high prbably was way better I'm saying with the lighter winds tomorrow morning is going to be promising I am definitely checking it tomorrow and dredgin slipping into my wet wetsuit
I didnt go today but ill be going to surf at Long beach or rockaway at around 12. It will be around waist time but if its not that good i might go to fire island which will be a little bigger like stomach - shoulder with occ Head high. i know today was heavy offshore winds but tomorrow's looking really clean all day. At around 12 theres going to be winds only 9 mph NNW, so it looks like its going to be a fun day tomorrow with not much wind. i hope it gets a little bigger if not atleast stay clean with waist - chest high occ shoulder.
I'm hoping I could get a couple of waves before work tomorrow in LB (will have until around 10:15 to surf) although the tide is really not on my side atm =/
