    I know these threads are ridiculous, but whatever. Check the wind, yo. Get up early and scope the swell. Spend some time in the water. It's never a waste.

    SW winds aren't the best for South Jersey, since it faces a little more southerly... So, the more west in the wind the cleaner the conditions will be.
