They're already calculating which side of the lake to surf, and also which town has the jetty that will hold the swell and offer shelter from the wind.

Looking at a map, that spot looks like its about 25 miles off shore. I know the wind will be blowing hard, but is 25 miles enough of a fetch to produce 9ft waves?
