    highlights.

"extra" terrestrial implies they are not from earth. Think outside your box.

    John 8:42 through 44

I don't think that is entirely true. I know many great scientists that are not atheist. I also believe that there is room for natural and supernatural believers to come to a truce. Quantum research seems to ride the fine line between the two. It shows us that there can be forces in nature that don't have to play by the rules. The reason scientists cannot just call this stuff supernatural or acts of god, is due to the nature of science itself. Science exists to study and explain why things happen. If we just say "because of god", then that would be a lazy way to progress as a society. Science isn't trying to prove or disprove the existence of god. It is trying to explain why things are the way they appear in our universe. If we get to a point where we are advanced enough to really understand most facets of our plane of existence, we may inadvertently prove that there is a higher power. I just don't think evolution falls into that level of philosophical discussion. There is just too much data and evidence behind it. That is why I am of the opinion that organized religions should not get held up on the subject. There are far stranger and less understood topics to debate.

    Peace to you as well.

He does not have one. So far he has just rambled and pulled a "Wayne" by posting scipture. And again it's scripture that has nothing to do with ET's.

John 8:42-44New International Version (NIV) [SUP]42 [/SUP]Jesus said to them, “If God were your Father, you would love me, for I have come here from God. I have not come on my own; God sent me. [SUP]43 [/SUP]Why is my language not clear to you? Because you are unable to hear what I say. [SUP]44 [/SUP]You belong to your father, the devil, and you want to carry out your father’s desires. He was a murderer from the beginning, not holding to the truth, for there is no truth in him. When he lies, he speaks his native language, for he is a liar and the father of lies.

ccdog, sickle cell hetero-zygotes do well in areas that have high prevalence of malaria, it is a benefit to be a carrier in those locations

to sum this up, imho, we have some astute thinkers her, albeit a bit misguided

science has limits, it is what can be measured in the physical world, there is more to this realm/planet etc that we cant see

for instance, we can only see visible light, it wasnt until we developed detectors that we could see IR/UV light an utilize the whole spectrum

we will continue to search for the truth instead of relying on myths and we will understand more and more so long as we dont become close minded

and Roy, I kinda like where your head is at. these events that are molding evolution, Random? or is there something else to them we cant detect? maybe we will find out some day

epigenetics and how the environment influences gene expression will be a LARGE player in the coming decades and this will shed light on the driving force of how species change over insanely long amounts of time

and socco, you were on drugs, its all good, Ive seen alien ships melt my face too, dang guitar solo

I love you all from the bottom of my dark heart

    Hey MIS there you are.

How you doing today? Grand, just grand.

Hey, I'm with you now. I'm inactive in changing things. Hell I even missed the Poor People's Marijuana March in Camden, NJ this past weekend. A paltry 100 people, maybe, showed up. Yes, that's the name of the protest. I didn't make that up.

Anyway, you tell me what you want me to do, and I'll start doing it.

I'm ready for a new world paradigm.

Dude, I'm serious. I'm not playing around.

Yes. Correct. Thanks for reminding me of that... I do recall that and just refreshed my data banks https://www.physics.ohio-state.edu/~wilkins/writing/Samples/shortmed/nelson/sickle.html.

Still the cause of the "genetic change (or difference)" in the cell hemoglobin is uncertain, and it improves survival in malaria regions, however, the life expectancy is only ~46 y.o.

Hi Riley, you can start by sending me a cheque for monies, drop it off in the mauka side men's room stall at sharks cove restrooms, at 6am, step over the homeless dude and, just reach your hand under the divider and tap on my associate's slipper Larry Craig style

and ccdog, 46 yo is a terrrrrible life expectancy, but still better than dying of malaria earlier than that. I think this is a case of epigenetics (enviro altering gene expression) that we dont understand (yet)

MIS, I rarely leave Atlantic County these days, so I'll need an address to mail the cheques to. Hey, do Canadians use the spelling, "cheques?"

Jeez, everyone's axing me for money. Harris just sent me a letter axing for me to put money on his books. I'm so popular when people are in trouble. Kids, never be reliable to your friends. It gets you no where.

Hey, should I read this thread?

    Is it any good?

Hey MIS, does George Michael know aboot this restroom you speak of. Man, I haven't ran into George in awhile. I used to have sex with him at the bathrooms at the Griffith Park Observatory. I pretended I was Jim Stark.

Man, living in the greater Los Angeles area as a children is great. You get to take field trips to The Griffith Park Observatory. Then you get to fight with kids from other areas one you are there. Happened every time I went there. I have been on three field trips to the Griffith Park Observatory, featured in movies like Rebel Without a Cause and seen in the TV shows like HUNTER(MIS, I know you don't like cops but Sgt. Rick Hunter was the man, right?).

What is with people in California?

Especially the white ones from nice areas. They all think they are rough because Ice Cubed lived near them.

Your webbed feet are most likely an atavism from our evolutionary past :)

alright brada we can just agree to disagree then......As far as believing in aliens???? I know for a fact that I saw an unidentified, unexplained flying object but I did not witness any greys, reptilians or any other aliens. I think its very possible that they are here. The big question is what are they and where do they come from??? Maybe someday we will find out. I think if God thought our knowledge and understanding of aliens was important to our salvation he would have put it in the bible but it in the end it doesn't really matter what I think.
