This guy is pretty insane! He is actually doing what all of us only dream about or some even boast about planning to do it in the future, and of course we all have some type of excuse of why we don't or can't or it's just not the right time, blah, blah, blah.....

    Check this out....

What's really funny is all the comments left by others at the bottom of the article. They're so jealous of the guy that not one of them could leave a positive comment!

Pretty cool...we have some islands locally here, a bit of a drive, maybe an hour south that sees very very few surfers, and is only accessible by boat. Very unique area to the east coast...I keep saying on big swell and giving it a search...but blah blah blah. Just can't find the time and always scared that there will be nothing after going through all the motions even when firing.

I admire the guy, what he's doing and his attitude. When younger, particularly right after I got out of the Navy, I used to go out and do a lot of things on my own - some planned, some on impulse. I wasn't tied down to anyone or any place. Although nothing close to the adventures this guy has had. But there were times when it would've been nice to have shared at least a few of those experiences with another person. Nevertheless, some of my most inspiring or "religious" experiences occurred while alone doing something I enjoyed - almost all while on, in, or under the water.
Now, I just surf off VA Beach several times a week. But even that helps me better put up and deal with some of life's stresses - particularly all the BS at work. Got off on a tangent there. I apologize.

That has inspired me to travel and explore Myrtle Beach, both north and south Myrtle!

I love me some Kepa Acero. I do question whether he has sponsors like many of the commenters on surfline do. I suppose it doesn't matter because it's cool just to get inspired by his escapades and to travel and find new places to surf. Maybe I don't wanna know.

You can smell the jealousy in all the "hater" comments! Nothin but! You can't hate on the guy, its just that he's doing what most dream and don't have the bazzalls to pursue!
