Holy sweet Jeebus! It rained 4" in a couple of hours in Norfolk. Most of which was under water. Ocean front had a hook echo go off the coast at the same time trees were yanked up, 17th St surf shop got windows blown out, and the 3rd story of a house disappeared. Local weather calledit a f0 to 1. My van got swamped and I limped home. It'll crank and idle but that's it. got a rental now.

We got waffled here in Ocean City, NJ yesterday too. 5 inches of rain in under an hour. Tons of tourist cars swamped all over the island.

Screwed up the pics. I'll try again

That was my neighbor's mom. She just lost her husband earlier this year and he built the first 2 stories brick by brick years ago. Sad story.

All that debris behind Star of the Sea was her 3rd floor. Her house is beside the light colored house in the middle of the picture (on the next block)

This was at Mediterranean and Norfolk ave. The car was coming from Rudees and turning into Jr Market (I think I see Lee with his wetsuit caught in the ice machine ;) ...inside joke) when the wind caught him and rolled him into the church sign. Talk about finding jebus. Steeple fell next to the car and the top half of a telephone pole landed right beside it too.

Weird thing was houses 40yds away had no damage whatsoever. The house on the right was beat all to schit and the deck furniture/tables/umbrella at the house next to it never moved.

Lightning struck a tree in front of me and my buddy while we were going home from the beach! The tree fell on an electric line and had a giant blue ball of light appear with sparks going everywhere. It was pretty intense! Everyone had to make a U-turn over the median when this happened.

I was literally lifeguarding at the pool I work at on Norfolk ave and the funnel cloud came directly Over the pool but luckily the tornado didn't drop there. It formed about 2 blocks away. Sky went green and everything. It was insane. I'm a spotter for NWS and called it in as I was talking shelter in a bathroom haha. Would have taken a video but it was a little to close for comfort.
