lol its not that bad people!!!do u think people would surf there if they break their neck every other ride.and how is mavericks safer?the wedge dumps on dry sand,but all that water getting thrown around itll break on dry sand but ur still in 6ft of turbulence water.just like teahupoo,that wave breaks in knee deep water.u can actually stand in the lineup and its about chest deep,maybe even lower.but when a wave breaks,a 10ft wave for example,ur gonna have atleast 5 ft of turbulent water and when it dissipates,then u see how shallow it really is.like slater said on chopes,its real shallow,but u almost never hit the bottom
