Monday to wendsday were good to go in my little corner of NE but the problem here isn't unexperienced kooks as much as everyone and there mother can catch a wave, and there are only so many peaks at the points. Tuesday was great and was lucky to get in after the morning crowd and before the noon crowd, almost 2 hours with a manageable crowd. Then the wind shifted and headed to another spot for a second sesh, it was really clean and nice and I couldn't get a wave to myself. This place should empty out after this weekend of tourists and this swell should clean up. Used up my time off last week, hope it's not a circus here after work.

Anyway, I don't think I was...Monday night was one of those nights at the spot were you go and act like you're sittin in a cubicle

 

Went out yesterday morning. Weird swell, but pretty fun. Primary swell out of the west at 2 ft. at 19 second intervals, with a secondary swell also out of the west at 3 ft. at 8 second intervals. The result was knee high gutless dribblers, followed by a 5-wave set of headhigh whompers after a 20-minute wait. Invigorating, lol. I was on my toes like a midget at a urinal.

The bad part?

The worst Labor Day Weekend crowd in memory. Even lifelong locals stated they'd never seen that many people in the water before...*ever*. Must've been 200 guys crowding the lineup for over a half mile, 50% of them on Wavestorms.

Maybe I should stop telling people about this place, it seems to be getting blown up in a hurry.
