Its funny when its 2 to 3 foot and you see these weekend warriors all agro about how their a ripper and its their break . But when Arthur shows up with waves about head high maybe little bit bigger , and their all sitting on the beach just watching . I love it when a little swell clears up the line up .

God forbid some kids know their limits. Would you rather them be out there ditching their boards and then having you rescue them?

been there and done that . That will never change , if someone's in trouble of coarse i will react and help . Its part of living in the water . Its just funny how mother nature simmers down those attitudes .

There's a difference between weekend warriors and beginners. True weekend warriors don't have the luxury of being able to not paddle out.

I consider myself a weekend warrior. It's head high like every week out here in norcal, so I go.

water baby as a weekend warrior , do you throw out the agro bullchit ? or just enjoy the ocean . If you dont throw out the bs , i would have no problem with you at all , i might even split a peak with you . and northern California has different breed of surfers then jersey if i can recall correctly . Born and raised in there , well southern California

It's hard seeing weekday swells, especially in winter, and knowing you can't get there(save dem sick days fellers) .

im a 9-5 weekend warrior, former night shift worker which was better for getting them waves. life is much better, but goddamn if it doesnt hurt missing 90% of the 10-20 (give or take) good days in jersey. that being said, i lapped up every second of arthur and came multiple times on friday afternoon, so ill use my wave-camel-stoke-stashing powers to hold onto that until august when, i assume, will be the earliest potential for anything like that to roll through again.
