The biggest innovation now would be to have these super warm suits be easier to get in and out of.

I wear a 5.5/4.5 ebomb from Nov until late April. Is it flexible? Not really...let's face it, it's almost a 1/4" thick. That's life in this area. I think I had one single session last year that didn't require a wetsuit, and the waves were shin high, and I was out for 30 minutes.

Can't see how you'll need this heated vest thing. 35F water with 7F air a few times this winter and was never cold.

A lot of dudes will pull the hood down when it starts to get warm out. Once they snare a wave and begin to paddle back out they'll quickly put the hood back on in anticipation of duck diving. Need the hood on for that maneuver. Other than that, pulling it down doesn't get in the way.

Last winter on a big day I got drilled and my seams on both arms split from my wrists to my pits at the same time, **** it was cold. I was instantly purple. That invention probably would have stopped that.

Does anybody out there remember the "Boogie Suit" from Primo Wetsuits? Maybe 1977 or '78, IIRC. It was a long sleeve spring suit with Velcro straps around the wrists. They were marketed towards boogie boarders, but I never figured out what the purpose of the straps were, other than maybe preventing seepage through the sleeves. They never really caught on, obviously.

Gaffer sic pic of American Appalachia! How many inches did Corpus get on that winter swell? Was in Dallas in 2010 when they got 10" dumped on the Metroplex. Adults were making snowmen for the first time in their lives, it was asinine.

Paulie is SJB is PB&J is NorthSeawallWill is Ghost of SJB is bout 5-7 other cats too. Ditch the act bro. Waste of posts and keystrokes and muscular contractions of all our eyeball muskels bro. C'mon. Stop being selfish. Resurrect more of your dead brahs. We like that better. Oh, just met a dude who went to Clark tonight in Bridgeport. Yeah, I'm doing my annual tour of the Port. It doesn't change. Don't change bro.

Either I'm learning new schitt (always welcome) or you really need to produce a date, time, and buoy number. Bro, I don't think it got to 34 in EMass last winter and you guys are a few points Fahrenheit ahead of us always. Must've been some rogue February upwelling at BelMar that walkingonh2o nevah posted bout!!

What's the issue with this brahs? I wear a form-fitting wetty always and my winter suit is a 5/4 Drylock. If you timed me I'm probably in and out of it in 1-3 minutes. If you're not getting more skilled at the quick change then I'd question your attention to detail. No, trowin on or taking off the wetty is no cake walk. Neither is removing a yellow jacket stinger from your back but we figure it out.

Cats have said it here several times - once you liberate an elbow, then a shoulder, it's all downhill from there.

was out that day with a 5/4 pyrotech and was hot. I honestly think the 5/4 is overkill for even the northeast.

it would be cool if wetsuits had a little ring u can put ur car key on.but maybe its not a good idea to take ur keys in salt water especially with a clicker.i never figured the key thing out, what do people do with their keys.stashing it to the car is a bad idea in my eyes,i usually tie em to my flip flops but it sucks when ur at the beach alone and in the water and have to constantly watch ur shyt

My rip curl has a lower leg zippered pocket with a key tie inside it that one (old school, no electronics) key and a bit of wax can fit in.
