Does anybody knows someone that can repair a wetsuit in the NY area? I live in Queens, near Rockaway Beach, so I guess NYC and Western LI are OK for me. Thanks!

well... what kind of repair are we talking here? I just repaired a tear in one of my gloves. I used Neo-rez and a layer of cut cotton t-shirt to repair the tear.
the neorez is a flexible soft glue and my repair spot is now water tight again...

If its something like that, maybe pick up a tube from solarez.com and I could offer some tips how to use the glue if you post some pics???

The wetsuit is a Quikilver Syncro 3/2 and when I was taking it out I pulled it from the neck neoprene part and I ripped it... the rip is probably 4 inches long. It definitely needs pro work.

oh I see. Is the rip on a seam or is it in the middle of the neoprene somewhere?

Wow, thats a tuff rip. If that were my suit I would use the neorez.
    1. I would use the glue to glue the tear together. let it sit for 20min.
position it on a table so that you can easily do the next step without moving the suit too much...
    2. cut a black (for color matching only) cotton t-shirt for a piece that would fit over the area on the inside side of the suit... probably L shaped(piece must clearly be larger then the ripped area. place it on top of the now glued and drying area. Take the neorez, with a tooth pick at the ready and saturate the cotton piece with the neorez. work it into the cotton overlay piece with toothpick. let dry overnight. should be totally sealed, stretchy and soft to the touch...
