Ohhh look at Patdeeznuts he's sooo freaking cool. Wahhhh I don't like the advice people gave me, waahhhhh, I'm Patdeeznuts, I'm a little pu$$y. What a fukin douche nozzel you are. So you think someone who has less surf skills than you could not possibly have good advice on rinsing a wetsuite? I mean if a brilliant piece of crap like you can't figure it out and you rip soooo hard, how could anyone else give advice? Like Ryan said, it's putting fresh water through a wetsuite!!! How goddamn hard can that be Sally? Are you one of these little millennial douche rockets who needs the web to validate, inspire or approve every fukin thing they do?
PG, calm down. Try using your head, and devise this new magical/mythical method you seek, instead of b!tching at people's input, that you asked for. Seriously!? That's pretty ungrateful of you holmes. New rinse method just for you: 1)Stuff your suite in the toilet, sh!t on it, piss on it, flush 1 time. 2)Take the suit out and put it in your bed, under the covers. Leave it there until your next pro surf session. 3)Go back to the toilet, sh!t and piss again, stick your head in the toilet and flush 3 times.
I thought I gave you good input involving the pond. by the way Rhode Island is small, easy to leave and easy to meet people. Good luck Oh and Ive never posted a video of me surfing
I take my gear off at the beach and toss it in a tub or garbage bag. Then I rinse everything with the hose when I get home and let it drip dry in the shade inside out, then after a few hours return it to normal and let dry some more. The gloves and booties, I try to angle them so the wind blows into the openings as well as gravity pulling all the water out.
I don't rinse my suite. It goes straight from my car, to hanging in my garage....usually off the handlebar of a mountain bike, sometimes the handle of my snowblower and on special occaisions I put it on an actual hanger and it hangs over my jugs of used motor oil. I do soak and wash each suite before and after their season and that's it. My suites don't seem to suffer, and they don't stink. I can't notice any difference doing this, versus rinsing them religiously after each session (used to do that) I don't pee in the suite when I am close to the end of a session so the pee always has a good chance to rinse out. I do give extra attention to the boots though, since they tend to function as urine traps. I haven't seen any negative impact on the life of my suits. They are always stored out of the sun, which has proven way more important then rinsing for suite longevity for me.
I have the same thing. You can use a Pump basin for the laundry sink. It's basically a tank with a sewer pump inside. Sink drains runs to it, and it pumps to the higher sewer line. They sell them in kits for everything, even toilets and showers. I've had mine fo the laundry sink for nearly a decade, and it works great. You have to vent it outside though because the pump requires two way airflow so an Air Admittance Valve won't work. Can be a hassle if you can't tie to an existing stack easily. sorry for the hijack
Used to work in a suit.....here is what we did. Get a big tupperware crate. But wetsuit shampoo. Find a stick. Put water, the shampoo, and the wetsuit in the container. Use the stick to poke/slush it around. Pour out the soapy water and put fresh water in. Rinse. Hang to dry.
Ah someone must have the same name as me, I am sorry you went through that trouble cause I don't own a go pro nor do I have a YouTube account. Thanks for the laughs today though.
