I have a Ripcurl E-Bomb and some of the tape started coming undone and since Ripcurl offers a lifetime warranty on stitching and taping i was going to send it in, but realized i don't have the receipt. Does anyone know if I need the receipt when i send it in?

    Thanks

I figure that you do, you will need proof of purchase for your wetsuit.

check their website...it should say on there. i would assume, however, that you would need either the tags or the receipt for warranty work.

It's not too expensive to get fixed, just really depends on how much tape is undone and around what areas in your specific case.

how old is the suit? i've had a bunch of e-bombs & f-bombs & never run into this problem. might be cheaper/easier to just replace it? or call up hyperflex & see if you can drop it by their factory & have them do the repair?

did you buy online? happened to me last year, i didnt have my receipt, so just had to look on the site - through my order history for the order number. called them and asked that they mail me the invoice. if you bought in a shop maybe they can do something similar..

i bought it in a shop 1-1 1/2 years ago. its really nothing bad just the tape on the leg came off and it leaks pretty bad. Definitely not bad enough to replace the whole suit, thought i might get lucky and get a brand new suit as well. but if hyperflex would do that for a decent price, i might have to try that.

    thanks guys

Go back to the shop and tell them and they should be able to work out something for you for proof. Also, if you paid with a CC you can look up the purchase online or call them and they will get it for you. Either way you should be able to get something.

You might try calling them. Some companies can be very accommodating because they want you as a repeat customer or so you'll tell your friends how great it was dealing with them.
Though, some places are just pricks. Doesn't hurt to try.
