Please share the name, if you recall, of that flexible glue. Yes, I can google it, but answers may not be what you found useful.. I like to have a can of a product around in case I need it.

Just get the stuff that is like contact cement. It's in a metal jar. Trident makes it- get it at a dive shop, Avon dive shop. Or there's on in Neptune.

I didn't like the aqua seal stuff. The trident pretty much dries like new wetsuite. It's stretchy too. Plus you don't need to stitch up the seam- it's super strong. I never had a tear reopen if you follow the directions and do it correctly.

If I had some- I would just let you borrow it... But I lent it out a year ago and never got it back... I actually gotta buy some for myself soon - cause it happens

I got "seal cement" its in a green tube.i saw the aquaseal there and a few others, looked all the same so I bought this.i put 4 coats on over the past few hours, seemed good after 2 but wanted to reinforce it.patch looks sealed, didnt try it on yet tho, thatll be the test on Thursday.i think it should hold and if not I still got a lot left in the tube.

Not the prettiest but its flexible and water tight.
The ugly yellow on the inside is aquaseal. When dry that stuff isnt flexible and it is hard. Which made it very irritating and eventually breaking again.
The new glue doesnt stick to the outer skin after a couple of times being used itll start to peel but it stays bonded together. Probably need to scuff the outer rubber skin if you need it to bind to it

I use Black Silicone Adhesive Sealant by Permatex and stitch with dental floss. Not sure where I got it. It should be clamped while drying but works great for long-tern repairs.

damn that's a helluva fix lol.kind of puts me in a good mood knowing I only had a slight tear and u can repair things like that that's much worse and still be able to use the suit

I thought the suit was done for. Was figuring id cut the hood off and use it on the rare occassion w a beenie lid. But i gave it one last shot w that stuff. Been great so far. Ive put it to the test and used it about 20xs since.
