weird place, you'd think that one of the most liberal bastions in the country would have a state tax, but we don't.

My property taxes aren't too bad, I actually pay almost 50% less in property taxes than what I paid in Texas...go figure. But I don't live in Seattle fwiw

state sales tax is close to 10%, so there's a little bit of a ream factor there.

Just like every other State in the Union, only the large metropolitan cities are Dem...while the remainder of the areas are conservative.
