Did anybody go out to Sandbridge on Sunday to check this out? http://hamptonroads.com/2011/03/sei-whale-found-stranded-virginia-beach The headline is a little misleading, making it seem like the whale was stranded/trapped on the beach, but it looks like it just died close to shore and washed up. I say at high tide they drag the carcass 50-75 yards out and we can have a nice little break out in Sandbridge, with some marine life swimming around too (j/k)
i surfed some sloppy onshore waist high waves staurday at First street but I didnt see dead or live whales near the beach. I didnt even hear about that.
